Venezuela Beach Escape Get away from it all and enjoy some of the best beaches Venezuela has to offer. Spend eight luxurious days relaxing in the warm Caribbean sun, or try kayaking, snorkeling, or fishing in the pristine waters teaming with tropical fish. Day 1: Caracas to Maracay Arrive in Caracas, the metropolitan cultural center of Venezuela. In Caracas, an executive taxi will be waiting to transfer you to the 300-year-old city of Maracay, where you'll spend the night relaxing at a top hotel BB. (Dinner not included) Day 2: Henri Pittier National Park We'll take a taxi transfer to the coast of the Henri Pittier National Park, stopping at the famous Rancho Grande bio-station for a glimpse of the abundant bird life and a walk in the cloud forest. After Lunch on Cata beach a 20-minute boat transfer will take you to our Coral Lagoon Lodge. Located in the coral lagoon of "La Cienaga" and inaccessable by land, our beach lodge is a great place to get away from it all. The lagoon and its bordering mangroves teem with colorful parrotfish, angelfish, trumpet fish, moray eels, sea turtles and octopus amongst others, not to mention many types of flourishing corals and sponges. Coral Lagoon Lodge (L,D) Day 3: Kayak, fish, snorkel Kick back in the sunshine and relax in a hammock. Or choose to kayak, fish or snorkel in the beautiful Caribbean waters. Coral Lagoon Lodge (B,L,D) Day 4: Kayak, fish, snorkel Kick back in the sunshine and relax in a hammock. Or choose to kayak, fish or snorkel in the beautiful Caribbean waters. In the evening we'll return to the eco-lodge for dinner and nights stay. (B,L,D) Days 5 to 8: Los Roques National Park Snorkeling and relaxing on the Cayes. Staying at a Superior Posada (B,L,D) Early in the morning of day five we'll transfer to the airport for flight to Barinas. A one and a half-hour land transfer takes you to Hato Cedral. After lunch a guided nature tour with English speaking guide takes you in a safari jeep to discover the biological capital of the Hato where you'll see all the animals representative of South Americas fauna. Miriads of birds, cayman, ant eaters, capybara, but to mention a few. The following days: morning and afternoon excursions by safari jeep, horse back and boat let you discover the biological wonders of this unique environment. Days 8 to 10: Los Roques National Park Snorkeling and relaxing on the cayes. Staying at a Superior Posada (B,L,D) |
