Black Howler Monkey
(Alouatta pigra)

The arboreal howler monkey prefers low-lying tropical rainforests, and can be seen feeding upon leaves near the Blue Creek River in Belize and the foothills of the Maya Mountains. The adult howler monkey is entirely black and weighs 15-25 pounds.
